February’s long and winding road is just about over for the Ontario Reign. And by ‘road,’ we literally mean road. Nine of their 10 games scheduled this month were scheduled as road contests. This past Sunday featured Ontario’s only home game between the end of January and a five-game home stand beginning on March 2.
For their final three games in February, the Reign will play in Vegas on Wednesday, followed by a pair of games in Tucson this coming weekend.
How did things go in their recent home-and-home series vs. San Diego? Ontario claimed both games by a score of 4-3.
Matt Villalta started both games in goal, and he’ll start again tonight. However, with Jacob Ingham being transfered to ECHL Greenville, John Lethemon will now serve as backup.

With Jacob Moverare back up in LA, Marcus Phillips will draw back in on defense.
In Sunday’s game, Kings prospect Gabe Vilardi continued his torrid pace, adding two more goals to his totals.
Vilardi with another two goals so far today. Remains over a point-per-gane player in the AHL this season… And now has 15 goals in 30 games. #Lardo
