It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday, January 6th.
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
The Reign defeated the Barracuda yet again before leaving the state to face the Grand Rapid Griffins in a back-to-back, which they would split the two games..
Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Center (41st overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 16 goals, 12 assists, plus-6, 25 PIM in 31 games
JAD had a stellar five-goal week, including a hat-trick against the Barracuda.

Aiden Dudas, Center (113th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 8 goals, 10 assists, plus-9, 10 PIM in 37 games played
Dudas added three assists this week and was able to draw several penalties with his aggressive forechecking.

Samuel Fagemo, Left/Right Wing (50th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 14 goals, 7 assists, plus-16, 11 PIM in 32 games played
Fagemo would continue his abuse of the Barracuda with a two goal performance and a fight in Monday’s win. He would score again against the Griffins and add an assist in each of those games.

2021-2022 Stats: 11 goals, 11 assists, even plus/minus, 12 PIM in 35 games played
Madden assisted on Turcotte’s goal against the Griffins.
Alex Turcotte, Center (5th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 6 goals, 10 assists, plus-16, 16 PIM in 24 games played
Turcotte would be one of the Reign’s most productive players this week, scoring two goals and earning two assists across the three games.

Helge Grans, RH Defenseman (35th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 4 goals, 10 assists, plus-8, 2 PIM in 31 games played
Grans added two assists against the Barracuda, a primary and a secondary.
Markus Phillips, LH Defenseman (118th overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 1 goal, 4 assists, plus-11, 14 PIM in 30 games played
Phillips continues to warm up as he picked up two assists against the Barracuda.
Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 26 assists, plus-15, 18 PIM in 34 games played
Spence added an assist against the Barracuda and had three more assists in the first game against the Griffins, which extended his point streak to 13 games. However, all good things come to an end as he was held pointless in the 5-3 loss. He is 10th in rookie scoring in the AHL and first in rookie defensemen scoring.

Jacob Ingham, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario Reign: 3.22 GAA, .882 SV %, 1 assist in 4 games played
ECHL-Greenville: 3.22 GAA, .895 SV % in 10 games played
In the second game against Grand Rapids, Ingham would have to face a salvo of 23 Griffin shots just in the first period. He would make 32 saves on the 37 total shots in the 5-3 defeat.

Lukas Parik, Goalie (87th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario: 3.50 GAA, .893 SV % in 4 games played
ECHL-Rapid City: 2.36 GAA, .927 SV % in 16 games played
Parik added another win to his AHL career, stopping 19 of 24 shots in an 8-5 win over the Barracuda.
Matt Villalta, Goalie (72nd overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.24 GAA, .915 SV % in 20 games played
Villalta carried the Reign to victory in the opening game against Grand Rapids, stopping 35 of 37 shots on the way.
CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY
OHL
Brandt Clarke, Barrie Colts, RH Defenseman (8th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 8 goals, 35 assists, plus-18, 14 PIM in 35 games played
Clarke and the Colts had a winless week, mustering only three goals in the three games they played in. Clarke had a secondary assist on one of those markers.
Martin Chromiak, Kingston Frontenacs, Left Wing (128th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 20 goals, 27 assists, plus-9, 8 PIM in 35 games played
Chromiak registered ab assist this week across two games and was a scratch for Kingston’s final game of the week.

Pinelli remains out with a lower-body injury.

Braden Doyle, Penticton Vees, LH Defenseman (157th overall in 2019)

NCAA-Boston Univ.: 0 goals, 1 assist, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 8 games played
In a 5-2 Penticton win, Doyle had two assists.

Laferriere had a big week defeating both Boston College and Dartmouth, defeating them 6-3 and 3-1. Laferriere added an assist against Boston College.

The River Hawks finished a week of disappointment for Boston College and Dartmouth with their 3-2 and 6-3 victories over them. Against Dartmouth, Lee was named Second Star of the Game for his three point night, contributing an empty netter and two assists.

Faber and Team USA patiently await to kick off their Olympics against Team China on Thursday, February 10th.
Ben Meehan, UMass-Lowell, LH Defenseman (140th overall in 2020)

Meehan registered 5 shots on goal and was a minus-2 across both of this week’s games.
David Hrenak, St. Cloud State, Goalie (144th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.25 GAA, 0.916 SV % in 21 games played
The Univ. of Denver took it to the Huskies this week, outscoring them 10-5 in their weekend series. Hrenek allowed nine goals on 76 shots faced.
