Is tonight one of those dreaded trap games?
Coming off a weekend sweep of the Golden Knights on Friday and Coyotes on Saturday, the Kings returned home for a few days before returning to Arizona yesterday. Tonight, they’ll finish off their two-game series with the desert dogs and look to push their winning streak to three straight, as they head into a big showdown with the Ducks on Friday.
First things first, though. LA coach Todd McLellan will look for his group to stay focused and not look past those pesky Coyotes. Last time out, forward Adrian Kempe continued to add to his career-year, potting a pair of goals for the second night in a row.
Some LAK history made in last night's comeback win in AZ:
– First time the franchise has rallied from a multi-goal deficit to win on consecutive days.
– Adrian Kempe first Kings player to record two or more goals on consecutive days since John Tonelli from Jan. 5-6, 1989.
