Anaheim Ducks Weekly Prospect Tracker, Week Ending February 20, 2022

Let’s take a look at the Anaheim Ducks prospect pipeline. High draft positions the last few years has yielded a number of talented prospects, which bodes well for the Ducks as they begin rebuilding the team in earnest.

OLYMPICS WRAP UP

Mason McTavish and Team Canada returned home without a medal. McTavish registered one point (assist) in five games played.

SAN DIEGO GULLS (AHL)

Jacob Perreault, Right Wing (27th overall in 2020)

2021 season:
AHL-San Diego: 8 goals, 11 assists, minus-8, 35 PIM in 33 games played.
NHL-Anaheim: 0 goals, 0 assists, minus-1, 0 PIM in 1 game played.

No points in three games played. Cold streak gets colder, now one point in the last 10 games.

Brayden Tracey, Right Wing (29th overall in 2019)

2021 season:
AHL-San Diego: 9 goals, 17 assists, plus-11, 22 PIM in 34 games played.
NHL-Anaheim: 0 goals, 0 assists, minus-1, 0 PIM in 1 game played.

Earned an assist in three games played with the Gulls.

Lukáš Dostál, Goaltender (85th overall in 2018)

2021 season:
AHL-San Diego: 9-8-0, 2.68 GAA, .909 save pct in 19 games played.
NHL-Anaheim: 2-1-1, 2.53 GAA, .929 save pct in 3 games played.

Dostál finished with a 1-1-0 record in three appearances (two starts). Has won three of his last four starts in net.

CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY

Tyson Hinds, QMJHL-Rimouski/Sherbrooke, Defenseman (76th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 6 goals, 13 assists, plus-12, 22 PIM in 30 games played.

Did not register any points in three games played.

Sasha Pastujov, OHL-Guelph, Left Wing (66th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 22 goals, 23 assists, minus-15, 21 PIM in 39 games played.

Pastujov was held scoreless in Guelph’s only game of the week.

Mason McTavish, OHL-Peterborough, Center (3rd overall in 2021)

2021 season:
IIHF-Team Canada: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 2 PIM in 5 games played.
OHL-Peterborough: 5 goals, 0 assists, plus-4, 9 PIM in 4 games played.
NHL-Anaheim: 2 goals, 1 assist, plus-3, 2 PIM in 9 games played.
AHL-San Diego: 1 goal, 1 assist, plus-1, 4 PIM in 3 games played.

Credited with one assist over the final two games for the Canadian Olympic Team

Gage Alexander, WHL-Winnipeg, Goaltender (148th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 16-6, 2.34 GAA, .910 save pct, 2 shutouts in 24 games played.

Alexander stopped 22 of 25 shots in losing his only start.

Sean Tschigerl, WHL-Calgary, Left Wing (130th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 20 goals, 25 assists, plus-1, 29 PIM in 47 games played.

It was a good week for Tschigerl as he registered a goal and two assists in three games. He is second on the team in scoring.

Olen Zellweger, WHL-Everett, Defenseman (34th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 10 goals, 40 assists, plus-39, 21 PIM in 37 games played.

Zellweger earned two assists in two games. Second among all WHL defensemen in scoring.

Kyle Kukkonen, USHL-Madison, Michigan Tech commit, Center (162nd overall in 2021)

2021 season: 16 goals, 21 assists, minus-1, 32 PIM in 41 games played.

Kukkonen scored a goal in three games played. Second on the team in scoring.

Ethan Bowen, BCHL-Chilliwack, North Dakota commit, Left Wing (207th overall in 2020),

2021 season: 16 goals, 18 assists, 24 PIM in 29 games played.

Picked up two goals in two games played. Suspended three games for a check to the head incident in Sunday’s game.

Sam Colangelo, Hockey East-Northeastern (So), Right Wing (36th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 9 goals, 12 assists, plus-4, 14 PIM in 21 games played.

Picked up a goal in three games. Since returning from injury, Colangelo has piled up seven goals and 10 assists in 12 games.

Henry Thrun, ECAC-Harvard (Jr), Defenseman (101st overall in 2019)

Thurn credited with two assists in two games played. Tied for team lead in scoring.

Ian Moore, ECAC-Harvard (Fr), Defenseman (67th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 1 goals, 8 assists, plus-12, 6 PIM in 26 games played.

Earned an assist in three games.

Trevor Janicke, B1G-Notre Dame (Jr), Center (132nd overall in 2019)

2021 season: 12 goals, 7 assists, plus-3, 14 PIM in 32 games played.

No points in two games played.

Blake McLaughlin, B1G-Minnesota (Sr), Left Wing (79th overall in 2018)

2021 season: 12 goals, 17 assists, plus-8, 35 PIM in 32 games played.

McLaughlin picked up a goal and an assist in two games. Exceeded 100 career points over the weekend.

Artyom Galimov, KHL-Ak Bars Kazan, Center (129th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 7 goals, 15 assists, plus-3, 18 PIM in 47 games played.

Galimov played in a practice tournament against three other KHL teams, netting three goals in three games.

Albin Sundsvik, SHL-Skellefteå, Center (160th overall in 2020)

2021 season:
SHL-Skellefteå: 3 goals, 4 assists, plus-6, 14 PIM in 36 games played.
Champions HL-Sweden: 4 goals, 2 assists, plus-3, 2 PIM in 7 games played.

Scored a goal in two games played.

Thimo Nickl, Allsvenskan-AIK, Defenseman (104th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 2 goals, 7 assists, minus-4, 20 PIM in 35 games played.

Nickl earned an assist in three games played.
