Thursday night will mark the midway point of a six-game season series between the Reign and Barracuda. Ontario has taken both games played thus far, including a 4-1 win during a morning game on Wednesday.
With a first period goal yesterday, Gabe Vilardi checked a trio of boxes. It marked the sixth consecutive power play where the Reign recorded a goal. It also ended up being the game winning goal. Plus, it means he’s now recorded a goal against San Jose both times he’s seen them this year. Can he make it three in a row?

Forward Vladimir Tkachev will draw back in tonight after sitting out yesterday’s game.
Also of note, Kings goalie prospect Lukas Parik will serve as backup tonight. He’s coming off a 39 save performance in San Jose on Wednesday, including a season-high 19 saves in the second period alone.
