It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday,
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
The Reign had back-to-back 5-2 defeats of the Henderson Silver Knights this week.
Quinton Byfield, Center (2nd overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 4 goals, 2 assists, minus-1, 8 PIM in 10 games played
Byfield has extended his point streak to five games, earning a primary assist on a tic-tac-toe goal in the first game and shimmying a puck past the netminder to tie the game at one in the second game. His play would see him named First Star of the Game in the final match.

Aiden Dudas, Center (113th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 6 goals, 6 assists, plus-3, 6 PIM in 28 games played
In the first game of the week, Dudas scored a goal that amazed. After pulling off a clean toe-drag on a defender, he faked a shot into the right side of the net before sliding it in five-hole.

Tyler Madden, Center (68th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 11 goals, 7 assists, plus-2, 8 PIM in 26 games played
Madden had another three-point week, scoring two goals and an assist. He would be named Second Star of the Game in the final match.

Akil Thomas, Center (51st overall in 2018)

Thomas is nearing a return from his foot injury and is once again skating.

2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 14 assists, plus-9, 12 PIM in 25 games played
Spence continued his hot streak, teeing up Vilardi for a one-timer in the first game and scoring a long range wrist shot in the second game.

Matt Villalta, Goalie (72nd overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.83 GAA, .900 SV % in 16 games played
Villalta was called upon for both starts this week, making 25 saves on 27 shots and earning Third Star of the Game in his first outing. In his second he would make 29 saves on 31 shots.

Jacob Ingham, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario Reign: 1.85 GAA, .931 SV % , 1 assist in 1 game played
ECHL-Greenville: 3.22 GAA, .895 SV % in 10 games played
Ingham was called up to the Reign and then to the Kings taxi-squad. He did not play this week.

2021-2022 Stats: 6 goals, 26 assists, plus-9, 8 PIM in 25 games played
Following a pointless outing in a 3-1 loss to Mississauga, Clarke exploded in a four-point performance against North Bay, scoring a goal and three primary assists. He leads his team in points and leads all OHL defensemen in points.

The Frontenacs had a forgettable week after being outscored 16-5 in two games played. Chromiak had no points, was a minus-3, and had five shots on goal in those games.
Francesco Pinelli, Kitchener Rangers, Center (42nd overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 13 goals, 19 assists, plus-2, 10 PIM in 28 games played
Pinelli scored a goal, a top-shelf snipe off the rush, in the Rangers 7-4 Sunday loss to the Storm.

Harvard lost their only game of the week 3-0 to Quinnipiac University. Laferriere was a minus-2, had one shot and one blocked shot in the game.
Andre Lee, UMass-Lowell, LW/C (188th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 11 goals, 4 assists, plus-9, 44 PIM in 19 games played
The River Hawks went up against Maine Univ. in a weekend back-to-back and came out on top in both matches. Lee added the primary assist on the opening goal in the first game and added another assist as well as a goal in the second game.

Faber has been absent for the Gophers due to being in COVID-19 protocol but not from the minds of Team USA brass. The young defensemen was selected to represent his country for the upcoming Winter Olympics in China.
