It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday,
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Center (41st overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 8 goals, 11 assists, plus-6, 18 PIM in 23 games played
JAD scored a tip-in goal in both games this week.

Quinton Byfield, Center (2nd overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 6 PIM in 8 games played
Byfield had a three points in the two games played this week including two goals. In his game against the Heat, he was able to use his reach to pull a rebound towards himself and past the stretched out pad of the goalie before putting it in with a backhand. He would be named Third Star of the Game.

Samuel Fagemo, Left/Right Wing (50th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 10 goals, 4 assists, plus-12, 4 PIM in 26 games played
Fagemo also had three points this week and played overtime hero against the Gulls, slamming home a one-timer off of a 2-on-1. He would be named First Star of the Game. Against the Heat, he would tie his goal totals from last season (10) while playing in six fewer games

Tyler Madden, Center (68th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 9 goals, 6 assists, plus-3, 8 PIM in 24 games played
Yet another skater that had three-point week, Madden registered a goal and two assists.

Helge Grans, RH Defenseman (35th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 9 assists, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 20 games played
Against the Gulls, Grans’ wrist shot from the point led to the goal that would send the game to overtime.

Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 1 goal, 13 assists, plus-10, 12 PIM in 23 games played
Spence scored his first pro goal with a slap shot from high in the slot. He would add two primary assists to close out the week. He now leads all active Reign defensemen in scoring.

Lukas Parik, Goalie (87th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario: 4.07 GAA, .877 SV % in 2 games played
ECHL-Rapid City: 2.36 GAA, .927 SV % in 16 games played
Parik had his first taste of AHL action after relieving starter Garret Sparks in the Gulls game. He would make 9 saves on 11 shots and held on to secure the win. His first official start would come against the Heat, the best team in the AHL. He would make 41 saves on 46 shots.
ECHL
Jacob Ingham, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario Reign: 1,85 GAA, .931 SV % , 1 assist in 1 game played
ECHL-Greenville: 3.22 GAA, .895 SV % in 10 games played
Ingham made 28 saves on 31 shots in a 4-3 shootout loss this week.
CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY

Brandt Clarke, Barrie Colts, RH Defenseman (8th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 23 assists, plus-8, 8 PIM in 23 games played
Clarke picked up three primary assists in a 7-3 win over the Owen Sound Attack. He leads his team in points and sits two points back of the defensemen scoring lead in the league while playing in four fewer games. He leads all defensemen who have played at least 10 games in PTS/G at 1.22.

The Rangers had a rough week, loosing all three of their games. Pinelli had a goal and a primary assist in those outings.

The Crimson played one game this week, a 4-1 win over Union College. Laferriere picked up a beautiful assist with a behind the back pass as he was circling the backside of the net.

The River Hawks defeated Maine Univ. 9-5 in a high-scoring match. Lee was a minus-2 in that game and had two shots on goal.
Brock Faber, Univ. of Minnesota, RH Defenseman (45th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 9 assists, plus-3, 12 PIM in 20 games played
The Gophers opened their week with an exhibition game against the U18 USDP, winning 5-3. They would return to regular season action against Michigan State, both wins. Faber picked up a primary assist and was a plus-2 in those games. With the NHL withdrawing its players from the 2022 Winter Olympics, Faber has earned consideration for Team USA.

Markkanen saw heavy usage this week in all three of SaiPa’s losses. Two of his games he was called in to relieve the starter, making 35 saves on 34 shots. In the game he started in, he made 24 saves on 26 shots.
