It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday, January 2nd.
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
The Reign lost their first two games of the week, 4-3 in OT against the Condors and 4-1 against the Silver Knights. The finished the week with a 3-2 overtime win in a comeback against the Condors.
Quinton Byfield, Center (2nd overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 1 goal, 0 assists, minus-1, 4 PIM in 6 games played
Byfield picked up his first point of the season with an overtime goal against the Condors.

Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Center (41st overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 6 goals, 11 assists, plus-7, 18 PIM in 21 games played
JAD scored the lone goal against the Silver Knights and had the primary assists on the game-tying and game-winning goal in Sunday’s game.
Samuel Fagemo, Left/Right Wing (50th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 8 goals, 3 assists, plus-11, 2 PIM in 24 games played
Fagemo scored in the dying minutes of the third to send the game to overtime in the second game against the Condors.
Helge Grans, RH Defenseman (35th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 5 assists, plus-1, 2 PIM in 18 games played
Grans finished his World Juniors with three assists in two games played. He returned to the Reign and played against the Silver Knights and the Condors.

Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 11 assists, plus-8, 12 PIM in 21 games played
Spence picked up two assists in the first game against the Condors.

Austin Strand, RH Defenseman (Free agent signing in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 3 assists, minus-1, 16 PIM in 14 games played
Strand had the primary assist on JAD’s goal against the Silver Knights.
Matt Villalta, Goalie (72 overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.95 GAA, .895 SV % in 14 games played
Villalta played once this week in the first game against the Condors where he got the play started for Vilardi’s opening goal. He stopped 30 of 24 shots.

ECHL
Jacob Ingham, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario Reign: 1.85 GAA, .931 SV %, 1 assist in 1 games played
ECHL-Greenville: 3.28 GAA, .894 SV % in 13 games played
Ingham did not play this week.
Lukas Parik, Rapid City Rush, Goalie (87th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.63 GAA, .927 SV % in 16 games played
Parik opened up his week with a tremendous 46 save shutout of the Utah Grizzlies. His next three games would come against them, where he stopped 84 of 91 shots earning a victory and two defeats. His play would earn him a call up to the Reign where he would serve as the backup against the Condors.

Martin Chromiak, Kingston Frontenacs, Left Wing (128th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 13 goals, 19 assists, plus-4, 4 PIM in 23 games played
Chromiak finished his World Juniors with two goals in two games for Team Slovakia, their only goals in the tournament.
Francesco Pinelli, Kitchener Rangers, Center (42nd overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 9 goals, 18 assists, plus-7, 6 PIM in 23 games played
COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)
Alex Laferriere, Harvard Univ., Right Wing (83rd overall in 2020)
Laferriere had a three point game against the University of Connecticut, scoring a goal and adding two assists, one of which came from a high-effort diving play.

The River Hawks pulled off a 3-2 victory over St. Lawrence. Lee had three shots on goal.
Braden Doyle, Boston University, LH Defenseman (157th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 8 games played
Doyle did not play in the Terriers 5-1 defeat of Brown.
Brock Faber, Univ. of Minnesota, RH Defenseman (45th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 7 assists, even plus/minus, 10 PIM in 18 games played
The Gophers won an exhibition game 5-2 against St. Thomas. Faber and Team USA beat Team Slovakia 3-2 before all the teams were sent home. Faber had just under 19 minutes in TOI.

2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 6 assists, plus-9, 21 PIM in 16 games played
Meehan was a minus-2 against St. Lawrence Univ.
David Hrenak, St. Cloud State, Goalie (144th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 1.94 GAA, .925 SV % in 15 games played
Hrenak made 29 saves on 31 shots in a 4-1 defeat of Bemidji state.

Helenius returned from the World Juniors tied for second in points for Team Finland, having three goals and one assist. In their final game, Finland beat Austria 7-1, where Helenius scored a goal and had an assist.
