Before getting to tonight’s lineup, let’s begin with a brief recap of last night in Ontario…
Playing in the first of back-to-back games this weekend, the Reign came out firing on Friday — mounting a 5-0 lead in the game and eventually winning 7-4.
Austin Wagner opened the scoring, while Tyler Madden and Gabe Vilardi were also part of the early onslaught. In the third period, Martin Frk and Vladimir Tkachev each scored to help put the game away.
Video highlights:
For tonight’s contest, the Reign are expected to largely go with the same lineup as Friday… with two exceptions…
— There is a good chance Jacob Doty will play tonight; and that certainly would make sense, as Tucson will be bringing former Ontario forward Boko Imama with them.
— Garret Sparks is scheduled to join the Kings in Washington for tomorrow’s game, so Kings goaltending prospect Lukas Parik will serve as the backup goalie tonight.
LA Kings goalie prospect Lukas Parik is being recalled to AHL Ontario.
