Projected Lineup: LA Kings vs. Toronto Maple Leafs in Game 12

November 8, 2021 By MayorsManor Staff

With four straight wins on their recent homestand, the Kings have pulled their record up to an NHL .500, with a 5-5-1 showing after 11 games.

Carl Grundstrom, originally drafted by the Maple Leafs and later acquired by the Kings in a deal that sent Jake Muzzin to Toronto, will return to town for only the second time in black and white. He faced the Leafs in Toronto back in November 2019, yet came away pointless after playing over 14 minutes. Thus far this season, Grundstrom has two goals in eight games played.

Following Monday night’s action, the Kings will immediately head to Montreal for a Tuesday night game with the Canadiens. Given the back-to-back games, expect Cal Petersen and Jonathan Quick to once again split the starting goaltender responsibilities.  For the Maple Leafs, old friend Jack Campbell will get the start in goal.

ADDITIONAL GAME RELATED NOTE FOR CANADA:

This is a very exciting moment for fans in the area of Ontario, with sports betting becoming legal later this year. That’s why it’s important to learn more about Ontario sports betting and what online sportsbooks you can expect in the near future — such as the beloved FanDuel and DraftKings, which are planning to arrive soon.

Puck drop is scheduled for 4:30 pm PST tonight and the game will be on Ballys Sports West and NHL Network.
