For the first time this season, the Ontario Reign may be facing a little bit of adversity.
Meanwhile, in Sin City…
Frk and Tynan with two goals each, 5-2 final.
Reign win again.
Now 7-0-1 and remain in first place.

Through their first eight games, T.J. Tynan has been the team’s No. 1 center. Similar to part of the reason Philip Danualt was acquired by the Kings — to add depth to their top-6 and take pressure off of younger players — Tynan was brought in to support the young Reign nucleus. And why not? At 29 years old and coming off of an AHL MVP season last year, he looked like a solid addition on paper. Better yet, Tynan has delivered and then some, as he’s currently leading the Reign with 13 points.
He won’t be with the club this weekend, though. Tynan has been called up to the Kings and will accompany the big club on their upcoming road trip to Canada.
From what we’re hearing, Alex Turcotte will move from the 2C up to the top line, and Jaret Anderson-Dolan will also slide up from the 3C into Turcotte’s previous spot. With these moves, Turcotte will get two new wingers. That isn’t the case for JAD. He played the last game with Vladimir Tkachev on his left and Sammy Fagemo on his right side. They’ll stay together as a unit. Austin Wagner and Tyler Madden will slide down and become third line wingers.
