It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday, October 31st.
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
The Reign faced the Canucks in a weekend back-to-back, dominating Friday night 5-2 and going the distance on Saturday with a 3-2 OT win. Ontario’s record stands at 6-0-1.
Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Center (41st overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 4 assists, plus-1, 0 PIM in 7 games played
JAD had a three-point weekend, including two points in the second game. He doubled the Reign lead in the first period by putting in a rebound off the goalie’s pad while sitting in front of the net. He would assist on the overtime winner, picking up a drop pass and sending it through two Abbotsford sticks to T.J. Tynan on the other side for a tap-in.

Tyler Madden, Center (68th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 2 assists, plus-1, 4 PIM in 7 games played
Madden pulled Ontario even with the Canucks in game one, sending a one-timer from the top of the slot into the net while on a four-minute power play.

Johan Södergran, Center (165th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 0 assists, plus-1, 0 PIM in 5 games played
In game one, the tall Swede was able to pick off a Canuck clearing attempt in their end with a poke check near the right boards which enabled him to take it to the slot for a shot that he sent over the netminder’s blocker while falling, pulling the Reign ahead by one.

Sean Durzi, RH Defenseman (52nd overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 4 assists, plus-6, 16 PIM in 7 games played
Durzi had a massive two-goal, two-assist performance on Friday night. For his first of the night and first of the season, he took a short-ranged pass and fired it on net from the middle of the slot, where his shot hit the goaltender and trickled in for what would be the eventual game-winning goal. His second goal would be the final of the game, a slap shot he fired cleanly through traffic from high up in the slot into the left side of the net.

Markus Phillips, LH Defenseman (118th overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 3 games played
Phillips picked up his first point of the season with a secondary assist in game one.
Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 3 assists, minus-1, 4 PIM in 6 games played
Spence was able to pick up two assists in game two, both of them secondaries while facilitating from the blueline on the power play.
Matt Villalta, Goalie (72 overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 1.99 GAA, .932 SV%, in 4 games played
Villalta started Friday night for the Reign, stopping 16 of 18 shots to earn the win. Villalta has not lost yet this season.

Ingham got his first start of the season in the ECHL, turning away 34 of 36 shots for a 4-2 win over the South Carolina Stingrays
Lukas Parik, Goalie (87th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.00 GAA, .941 SV % in 1 game played
Parik made his ECHL debut for his first North American professional game, turning aside 32 of 34 shots in a 2-1 OT loss.
CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY (OHL)
Brandt Clarke, Barrie Colts, RH Defenseman (8th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 9 assists, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 8 games played
Clarke had a massive three-goal, three-assist week in three games played. In the first game of the week, he picked up his first goal of the season with a perfect laser into the top right corner of the net from the left dot as well as two assists. He played hero in the second game of the week, sending a shot from the top of the left circle that bobbled between the goalie’s blocker and pad and then in. In game three, he added another goal and an assist to finish his week. He is tied for the team lead in scoring and is third in the league among defensemen in scoring, playing three fewer games than the leader.

Martin Chromiak, Kingston Frontenacs, Left Wing (128th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 6 assists, plus-4, 0 PIM in 8 games played
Clarke wasn’t the only one to have a productive week, Chromiak picked up two assists and a hat-trick in two games played. In the second game, a 4-3 win over the 67s, Chromiak opened up the Fronts scoring with a blistering one-timer from the top of the left circle on the power play. His second goal came off a one-timer, followed by a Michigan (lacrosse) goal early in the third period. With the hat-trick, he’s now tied for second in team scoring.

The former Buccaneer made his collegiate debut in a 9-3 win over Dartmouth and scored his first NCAA goal the next day in a 7-3 win over Bentley Univ. The puck would bounce off the boards behind the net right to his stick for an easy goal on a nearly open net.

The River Hawks downed Boston Univ. in both of their back-to-back games, winning 3-0 and then 2-1. Lee shone in the first game, scoring twice. His first would come from a breakaway, where he fooled the goalie to go one way while he shot the other way, finding the top right corner. His second goal would be a one-timer from close range.

JYP played twice this week, both losses. Helenius was sent down to the U20 team to bolster their chances of qualifying for the upper bracket. He has been named to Finland’s U20 roster for the upcoming Four Nations tournaments that will begin on November 12th.
According to the lineups, Brad Lambert (2022) and Samuel Helenius (LAK) are both playing for JYP's U20 team in today's game versus Jukurit. This is due to JYP trying to qualify to the upper bracket, with the preliminary stage of the U20 season coming to an end soon.

Jamsen returned to Mestis this week and scored two goals and two assists in his first game back for Peliitat. His first was on the power play, a shot from the right faceoff dot sent right over the pad and under the glove. His second goal was a highlight worthy play, receiving the puck off the face off, Jamsen brought it up to the goal line, walked a defenseman with ease, and skated across the crease and buried it with a backhander. He would score in his next game, tying it up at one on the power play. He has been named to Finland’s challenger team that will faceoff with the Czech Republic.
