It’s time to take a lap around the globe and check in on the LA Kings prospects playing in various leagues. The following reports are for games played through end of day Sunday, November 14th.
ONTARIO REIGN (AHL)
Due to the Ontario Reign featuring a large volume of LA Kings prospects this season, each tracker will feature a select number of them on a rotating basis – largely culled from key performances for the prior week.
The Reign suffered their first regulation loss this season with an 8-4 beating from the Tucson Roadrunners. They would return strong the following game against them, beating them 6-3. Their record stands at 10-1-1.
Quinton Byfield, Center (2nd overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 games played
As covered on KOTP, Byfield’s return to ice could be with the Canadian World Junior team for a conditioning assignment. Other options would be the AHL or right back with the Kings. He is expected to return in mid-December.
Aiden Dudas, Left Wing/ Center (113th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 1 assist, plus-3, 2 PIM in 12 games played
Dudas had an eventful first game against Tucson, scoring a goal and an assist before taking a brutal-looking knee-on-knee hit in the second period. He would return in the third period.

Samuel Fagemo, Left/Right Wing (50th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 6 goals, 1 assist, plus-11, 2 PIM in 12 games played
Fagemo erupted from his dry spell with a hat-trick in the second game against the Roadrunners.

Alex Turcotte, Center/Left Wing (5th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 6 assists, plus-8, 10 PIM in 12 games played
Turcotte had the primary assist on Moverare’s goal and did a lot of the heavy lifting to make Frk’s ninth of the season happen.

Sean Durzi, RH Defenseman (52nd overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 8 assists, plus-9, 18 PIM in 12 games played
Durzi had another two-goal, four-point game this week. Both of his goals came on the power play and two of his assists were on Fagemo’s hat-trick. He is second in scoring for defensemen in the AHL.

Jacob Moverare, LH Defenseman (112th overall in 2016)
2021-2022 Stats: 2 goals, 5 assists, plus-5, 2 PIM in 12 games played
Moverare put the Reign up 2-1 in the first game against Tucson with a shot from the slot.

Jordan Spence, RH Defenseman (95th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 6 assists, plus-6, 6 PIM in 11 games played
Spence picked up two assists in the first game against Tucson, including a primary. He is tied for first with Tyler Madden for Reign rookie scoring.
Matt Villalta, Goalie (72 overall in 2017)
2021-2022 Stats: 2.77 GAA, .905 SV % in 7 games played
Villalta had a rough game against the Roadrunners, allowing five goals on 11 shots and eventually being pulled for Sparks. He would sit the next game.
Players not included: Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Tyler Madden, Johan Södergran, Helge Grans, and Markus Phillips.
ECHL
Jacob Ingham, Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Goalie (175th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats
AHL-Ontario Reign: 1.85 GAA, .931 SV %, 1 assist in 1 game played
ECHL- Greenville Swamp Rabbits: 4.01 GAA, .880 SV % in 3 games played
Ingham had a rough outing this week, being lit up for four goals on 19 shots.
Lukas Parik, Rapid City Rush, Goalie (87th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 3.01 GAA, .908 SV % in 3 games played
Parik earned his first win of the season, stopping 25 of 27 shots on the way to a 4-2 victory over the Steelheads.
CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY (OHL)
Brandt Clarke, Barrie Colts, RH Defenseman (8th overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 11 assists, plus-4, 2 PIM in 12 games played
Barrie played three times this week, all wins. Clarke added an assist in each game. Clarke sits one point out of the lead for defensemen scoring in the OHL with two fewer games played.
Martin Chromiak, Kingston Frontenacs, Left Wing (128th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 7 goals, 13 assists, even plus/minus, 0 PIM in 14 games played
Chromiak would go pointless in his first game of the week but would pick up an assist and a goal in his second game, a 6-4 defeat from the Oshawa Generals. His goal began with picking up a drop-pass before scoring five-hole from the left dot. He would go scoreless in his third game, a 5-4 win.

Francesco Pinelli, Kitchener Rangers, Center (42nd overall in 2021)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 11 assists, plus-5, 6 PIM in 14 games played
Pinelli would pick up his lone point of the week with an assist in a 4-2 loss to Owen Sound. He would go pointless the following two games, both wins for the Rangers.

COLLEGE HOCKEY (NCAA)
Alex Laferriere, Harvard Univ., Right Wing (83rd overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 5 goals, 2 assists, plus-3, 0 PIM in 7 games played
Harvard lost 2-1 in overtime against Northeastern to open their three-game week. Their next game would be a heavy 6-2 defeat from Clarkson Univ., where the freshman would pick up a slick assist from behind the net on the power play. The final game of the week was a 1-1 tie with a shootout victory over St. Lawrence Univ., placing Harvard at no. 16 in the NCAA rankings.

Andre Lee, UMass-Lowell, LW/C (188th overall in 2019)

Lee scored two goals against Boston College, tipping in a Ben Meehan shot for his first and tipping in another for his second. Their 4-2 win would see the River Hawks climb to no.15 in the NCAA rankings.

Braden Doyle, Boston University, LH Defenseman (157th overall in 2019)
2021-2022 Stats: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 0 PIM in 7 games played
The Terriers would come out of this week with a tie and an OT win. Doyle recorded no stats.
Brock Faber, Univ. of Minnesota, RH Defenseman (45th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 1 goal, 5 assists, plus-3, 6 PIM in 12 games played
The Gophers split their games with Ohio State, losing 4-3 and then winning 2-0. Faber was a minus-3 in the first game and had two blocks the second game. Minnesota has fallen to no.7 in the NCAA rankings.
Ben Meehan, UMass-Lowell, LH Defenseman (140th overall in 2020)
2021-2022 Stats: 3 goals, 3 assists, plus-8, 19 PIM in 9 games played
Meehan had a solid 2 goals, 2 assist performance for the Hawks this weekend. His efforts against Northeastern ensured a 2-1 River Hawk victory, adding the primary assist on the game-tying goal and scoring the OT winner. The next game, he would send a shot on net for an Andre Lee tip-in and score another goal on the powerplay. His efforts would earn him the Hockey East Defender of the Week.

David Hrenak, St. Cloud State, Goalie (144th overall in 2018)
2021-2022 Stats: 1.50 GAA, 0.939 GAA in 11 games played
The Huskies split their back-to-back games against the Lancers this weekend. Hrenak made 17 saves on 18 shots in a 5-1 win and saved 23 of 26 shots in a 3-2 OT loss. The Huskies dropped to the number two spot in NCAA rankings.

Markkanen backstopped the U20 Fins in two games of the three game challenge series. He lost his first game, stopping 13 of 15 shots. He rebounded for a win in his second game, again stopping 13 of 15 shots.
