Anaheim Ducks Weekly Prospect Tracker, Week Ending November 7, 2021

Let’s take a look at the Anaheim Ducks prospect pipeline. High draft positions the last few years has yielded a number of talented prospects, which bodes well for the Ducks as they begin rebuilding the team in earnest.

EUROPE:

Artyom Galimov, KHL-Ak Bars Kazan, Center (129th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 3 goals, 8 assists, minus-4, 6 PIM in 27 games played.

Galimov credited with a point (assist) in three games. The lone point was his first in the last 10 games played.

Albin Sundsvik, SHL-Skellefteå, Center (160th overall in 2020)

2021 season:
SHL-Skellefteå: 0 goals, 2 assists, plus-1, 2 PIM in 14 games played.
Champions HL-Sweden: 4 goals, 2 assists, plus-2, 2 PIM in 6 games played.

Sundsvik did not register a point in three games. Has gone scoreless in 13 of the 14 games played.

Thimo Nickl, Allsvenskan-AIK, Defenseman (104th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 0 goals, 2 assists, minus-6, 8 PIM in 9 games played.

Thimo was off this week.

NCAA COLLEGE:

Sam Colangelo, Hockey East-Northeastern (So), Right Wing (36th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 2 goals, 2 assists, plus-1, 6 PIM in 8 games played.

Colangelo is out injured with an upper body injury.  His status is listed as week-to-week.

Josh Lopina, Hockey East-UMass (So), Center (98th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 3 goals, 2 assists, plus-3, 2 PIM in 5 games played.

Josh remains out due to an undisclosed injury. Head Coach Greg Carvel has said Lopina will be out “for a little bit of time”.

Henry Thrun, ECAC-Harvard (Jr), Defenseman (101st overall in 2019)

2021 season: 1 goal, 8 assists, plus-3, 4 PIM in 4 games played.

Recorded one assist in two games played. Leads ECAC in assists and tied for team lead in points.

Ian Moore, ECAC-Harvard (Fr), Defenseman (67th overall in 2020)

2021 season: 0 goals, 2 assist, plus-6, 0 PIM in 4 games played.

Picked up an assist and a plus-4 rating in two games.

Trevor Janicke, B1G-Notre Dame (Jr), Right Wing (132nd overall in 2019)

2021 season: 4 goals, 3 assists, plus-3, 4 PIM in 9 games played.

Earned an assist in two games. Third on the team in scoring.

Blake McLaughlin, B1G-Minnesota (Sr), Left Wing (79th overall in 2018)

2021 season: 3 goals, 10 assists, plus-4, 2 PIM in 10 games played.

Played in two games, scoring a goal and earning an assist. Continues to lead the team in scoring. McLaughlin is currently on a four game point scoring streak.

Jackson LaCombe, B1G-Minnesota (Jr), Defenseman (39th overall in 2019)

2021 season: 0 goals, 2 assists, minus-1, 6 PIM in 10 games played.

No points for LaCombe in two games.

Jack Perbix, B1G-Minnesota (Jr), Center (116th overall in 2018)

2021 season: 0 goals, 4 assists, plus-2, 4 PIM in 7 games played.

A quiet week in the boxscore as well for Perbix as he had no points in two games.

CANADIAN JUNIOR HOCKEY:

Tyson Hinds, QMJHL-Rimouski, Defenseman (76th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 1 goal, 3 assists, plus-1, 4 PIM in 7 games played.

Hinds picked up an assist in three games. Hinds anchors one of the stingiest defenses in the league.

Sasha Pastujov, OHL-Guelph, Left Wing (66th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 10 goals, 7 assists, 15 PIM, plus-1 in 10 games played.

Pastujov continues his torrid scoring, highlighted by a four point performance on Saturday. Leads OHL in scoring and second in goals scored.

Gage Alexander, WHL-Winnipeg, Goaltender (148th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 1-1, 2.15 GAA, .907 save pct, 1 shutout in 7 games played.

Endured a rocky outing in his only start of the week allowing five goals, but still managed to secure the victory for Winnipeg.

Sean Tschigerl, WHL-Calgary, Left Wing (130th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 5 goals, 4 assists, plus-4, 12 PIM in 11 games played.

Did not register any points in two games. Tschigerl has cooled off after a solid start, earning only one point, a goal, in his past five outings.

Olen Zellweger, WHL-Everett, Defenseman (34th overall in 2021)

2021 season: 3 goals, 5 assists, plus-5, 4 PIM in 8 games played.

Recorded one goal in two games. Continues a point per game pace that started in his breakthrough 2020-21 shortened season.

Kyle Kukkonen, USHL-Madison, Michigan Tech commit, Center (162nd overall in 2021)

2021 season: 3 goals, 7 assists, even, 8 PIM in 12 games played.

No points, but scored the winning shootout goal in the only game played this week.

Ethan Bowen, BCHL-Chilliwack, North Dakota commit, Left Wing (207th overall in 2020),

2021 season: 5 goals, 7 assists, 6 PIM in 11 games played.

Bowen had one goal in three games played. Bowen is tied for second in scoring on the team.
