EUROPE
Lias Andersson: Forward, HV71, SEL (1st round pick in 2017)
Regular season: 2 goal, 4 assists, minus-2, 4 PIM in 8 games played
Lias Andersson donned the yellow and blue as he captained in the Karjala Cup. He didn’t register a point, however, and Team Sweden ranked last in the short tournament.
Tobias Björnfot: Defense, Djurgårdens IF, SEL (1st round pick in 2019)
Regular season: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-1, 29 PIM in 6 games played
We have yet to see the Swedish blueliner hit the ice since his suspension, as COVID continues to keep the games postponed.
Aidan Dudas: Forward, Eisbären Berlin, DEL (4th round pick in 2018)
Regular season: N/A
Berlin didn’t play this past week. However, they look forward to participating in an upcoming tournament.
Samuel Fagemo: Forward, Södertälje SK, Allsvenskan (2nd round pick in 2019)
Regular season: 5 goals, 3 assists, minus-1, 0 PIM in 15 games played
Goals in two straight and three in the last four further demonstrated the offensive capability of the Swedish forward.

Helge Grans: Defense, Malmö Redhawks, SHL (2nd round pick in 2020)
Regular season: 2 goals, 4 assists, minus-6, 0 PIM in 11 games played
Grans and the Redhawks had the week off, with their next match scheduled for November 10.
Carl Grundström: Forward, IF Björklöven , Allsvenskan (2nd round pick in 2016)
Regular season: 2 goals, 5 assists, plus-4, 12 PIM in 10 games played
Grundstrom saw his ice time increase. For the first time this season, he played for more than 18 minutes, and he rewarded the faith put in him with an assist.
Jacob Ingham: Goalie, Eisbären Berlin, DEL (6th round pick in 2018)
Regular season: N/A
As previously stated with Dudas, Ingham did not play this week. However, they are slated to play on November 13.
Aatu Jämsen: Forward, Pelicans U20, U20 SM-sarja (7th round pick in 2020)
Regular season: 9 goals, 20 assists, plus-12, 22 PIM in 17 games played
With just one appearance this past week, Jämsen upped his total with an assist.
Juho Markkanen: Goalie, Ketterä, Mestis (4th round pick in 2020)
Regular season: 3-1-2, 2.77 GAA, .890 SV%, 1 SO in 6 games played
Markkanen was relegated down to the U20 SM-Sarja league for SaiPa. As Kettera didn’t play this week, he had some time to maintain his rhythm. He made 25 saves en route to a 7-1 win.
Jacob Moverare: Defense, SaiPa, Liiga (4th round pick in 2016)
Regular season: 0 goals, 1 assist, minus-4, 29 PIM in 7 games played
Moverare remains out due to a lower body injury, and there is no timetable for his return.
Kim Nousiainen: Defense, KalPa, Liiga (4th round pick in 2019)
Regular season: 3 goals, 1 assist, plus-6, 2 PIM in 7 games played
Liiga as a whole didn’t have much action, and KalPa had no games scheduled this past week. Their next bout has been scheduled for November 10.
Lukáš Pařík: Goalie, Spokane Chiefs, WHL (3rd round pick in 2019)
Regular season: 3-1-2, 3.64 GAA, .881 SV%, 0 Shutouts in 6 games played
Parik tended the net once during the Karjala Cup, and he faced off against Russia’s top goaltending prospect Yaroslav Askarov. He made 27 saves en route to a 3-0 loss, and Czech Republic secured second place in the round robin tourney.
Bulat Shafigullin: Forward, Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk, KHL (3rd round pick in 2018)
Regular season: 1 goal, 0 assists, minus-7, 4 PIM in 17 games played
Shafigullin shook the monkey off his back, as he scored his first career goal in the KHL, and it was his first point of the season.

Kasper Simontaival: Forward, Tappara, Liiga (3rd round pick in 2020)
Regular season: 0 goals, 1 assist, plus-2, 2 PIM in 4 games played (Liiga)
3 goals, 4 assists, plus-1, 4 PIM in 5 games played (Mestis)
Mestis hasn’t had a game since Halloween. They are set to resume next week, including TUTO’s bout on November 12.
Johan Sodergran: Forward, Almtuna, Allsvenskan (6th round pick in 2018)
Regular season: 1 goal, 2 assists, minus-2, 6 PIM in 12 games played
Sodergran only played once this week, and he was held off the scoresheet to extend his rut to three games..
Akil Thomas: Forward, Eisbären Berlin, DEL (2nd round pick in 2018)
Regular season: NA
Thomas awaits alongside Ingham and Dudas to resume their on-ice activities next week.
NCAA + USHL
Braden Doyle: Defense, Dubuque Fighting Saints, USHL (6th round pick in 2019)
Regular season: 0 goals, 2 assists, minus-2, 2 PIM in 2 games played
The Boston University commit had his long-awaited season start, and opened up with a pair of assists in as many games.
Brock Faber: Defense, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Big Ten (2nd round pick in 2020)

Gopher season has been announced, and Faber readies to lace the skates up in less than two weeks.

Dávid Hrenák: Goalie, St. Cloud State University Huskies, NCHC (5th round pick in 2018)

The NCHC announced a December 1 start date for their season, giving the goalie a chance to start his senior season.
Alex Laferriere: Forward, Harvard Crimson, ECAC (3rd round pick in 2020)
Regular season: NA
Des Moines’ season opening was postponed, and Laferriere is scheduled to start in the USHL on November 13. Harvard and the Ivy League does not have a schedule released yet.
Andre Lee: Forward, UMass-Lowell River Hawks, Hockey East (7th round pick in 2019)

The newly drafted defenseman hopes to join Lee after the season has been slated to start in less than two weeks.

Byfield and the rest of the hockey world eagerly awaits more substantive news about body checking in the OHL. Meanwhile, Byfield prepares for Team Canada for the 2021 WJC.

Chromiak is expected to be added to Slovakia’s 2021 roster, though no announcements have been made.
