Well, it’s over. The NHL Rookie Tournament held in Las Vegas was a rousing success for the Golden Knights – and, really, for all six teams that participated. It was a great showcase, with sold out games each day, and competitive action across the board.
Unfortunately for the Kings, the were the only team to not earn a W in one of their three games. And, worse yet, their Game 3 ending looked a lot like the first game vs. Anaheim, where they were steamrolled in the third period.
If you missed any of our notes on twitter, we’ve pasted a few in below. Then, further down the page we have a complete photo gallery from Game 3 between the Kings and Golden Knights.

Wagner finally takes matters into his own hands…
Fight with Kolesar, a couple WHL guys.
Lots of clutching, Wagner got one swing in and that was it.

Jacob Ingham (18yr old OHL goalie) is in net for the Kings today. LA drafted him in the sixth round this past June. Here's one scout's take on the day he was selected… https://t.co/vQ3RLlfdyE

With 1:31 remaining, Kings score to make it 6-2.
Then, VGK gets another one. They lead 7-2 with 15 sec remaining.
And that's it. #TheEnd

It's not just the typical, Vegas is Vegas.
Golden Knights training facility is brand new and checks off all the boxes. Great facility with two rinks, six locker rooms, easy sight lines and other amenities. Facility is also in a nice area of Summerlin, away from the strip
