This isn’t quite Frozen Fury, however the prospect tournament going on right now has been outstanding. Officially titled the 2018 Vegas Rookie Faceoff, it’s an event featuring talent from six teams – the host Vegas Golden Knights, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks, Arizona Coyotes, and Colorado Avalanche.
Saturday opened up with the Kings steamrolled in an 8-3 defeat by the Ducks (see here for notes and quotes, plus we have a Game 1 photo gallery up here). Despite coach Mike Stothers making a few lineup changes for Sunday’s Game 2 — and playing much better overall — they again came up on the short end, falling to the Coyotes 4-2.
Funnt moment – Rymsha was about to take a draw in the offensive zone, looked over his shoulder and pointed to where he wanted Strand to stand. Strand did not move from where he was. Rymsha won the faceoff and put the puck exactly where he had pointed to. #nobodyhome

For those who like this type of info…
Anderson-Dolan is wearing an A today, didn't have a letter yesterday.
Also, Maillet, who wore the C yesterday, was a scratch for this game – so Imama has it.

I asked Stothers if Anderson-Dolan getting the A was pre-planned or a reward for last night…
"A little bit of both."
Then flashed a huge smile and added – "I was real happy with him last night!"
