    No legit top four D-men on the team after DD and JM unless Ehrhoff reverts to younger days form which is speculative. Martinez is the best five in the NHL and McNabb is serviceable but neither really established as top four defenseman. This adds up to serious problems on defense.

    The Kings should be good but no lock for the playoffs.

    David Conte talking about the Devils and Lou L. a good read article today on TSN hockey. He admits a problem for the Devils in recent years was not bringing their young players up to the big club quickly enough. Sounds like the Kings of today.
