Collectively, they talked extensively about the Kings, Ducks, Sharks, Penguins, Winnipeg, and several other teams surrounding teams looking to make the playoffs next April.

No legit top four D-men on the team after DD and JM unless Ehrhoff reverts to younger days form which is speculative. Martinez is the best five in the NHL and McNabb is serviceable but neither really established as top four defenseman. This adds up to serious problems on defense.
The Kings should be good but no lock for the playoffs.
