We are just three days away from the start of the Calder Cup finals, where we now know the Manchester Monarchs will meet the Utica Comets, who beat the Grand Rapids Griffins 4-2 to win the AHL’s Western Conference. For the first time since 2000, the league’s top two teams in the regular season will meet for the ultimate trophy.

There is good news for the plethora of fans who have been unable to watch the Monarchs’ playoff run. The AHL announced that the Calder Cup finals games will be made available for free through the league’s website.
