Tuesday night will begin the first of five games in eight days for the Kings, and they’re hoping a trip to upstate New York is just what they need to get things started off on the right foot. Already holding a 2-0 shutout win over Buffalo in Los Angeles back in October, Darryl Sutter’s club might not find it easy to repeat that feat, as the Sabres have looked tough at times – including winning a pair of games over Montreal and Tampa Bay just last week.
To help us set the table for the final game between these two clubs this season, we once again invited NHL.com writer Joe Yerdon to help us out some Puck Probability. Now, we admit, Yerdon got a little crazy with some of his predictions last time. However, he has all but guaranteed us that at least a few of his ideas will take place this time around. We’ll see…
Odds by MayorsManor:
3:2 – The reunited line of Pearson-Carter-Toffoli produces at least five points.
2:1 – Patrick Kaleta, pictured, and Jarret Stoll have an altercation, ending with the former getting at least 15 penalty minutes.
5:1 – With all the talk about Sabres forward Zemgus Girgensons using a grassroots campaign to lead the voting for next month’s NHL All Star Game, Fox Sports West will air the infamous Vote For Lubo commercial from several years ago.
7:1 – Brayden McNabb crushes at least a pair of Sabres each period.
10:1 – Jonathan Quick stands on his head en route to a 1-0 victory.
44:1 – Robyn Regehr scores a goal.
