On Martin St. Louis being named today to replace Steven Stamkos on the Canadian Olympic team:
“I think he’s an unbelievable player. When we play against him, he’s tough to play against. I was able to play with him at a World Championships a few years back and he amazed me there. It’s a crappy bounce that Stamkos can’t play, but St. Louis is going to do a great job in that spot.”
On the tempo of the practice this morning being more up-tempo than usual:
“Yeah, I think we needed it, though. We had the day off a couple of days ago. We just need to get our legs moving. We just wanted to keep them going, not too many breaks. Snapping the puck around, tape to tape passes, getting the puck on net and we’re ready to go.”
