Five LA Kings prospects on TV tonight in three separate games

January 10, 2014 By John Hoven

While California based teams may be producing some of the best hockey in the NHL right now, it isn’t often that you can watch some of the league’s top prospects on TV in the U.S. So, it’s the one thing we’ll give you Canada – you make us jealous with all your puck coverage!

Tonight is a rarity though, as three LA Kings draft picks will be featured on television when St. Cloud State visits Denver at 6:30pm PST. That game can be seen on ROOT Sports Rocky Mountain (DirecTV channel 683). Skating for the SCSU Huskies will be forwards Jonny Brodzinski and Nick Dowd, along with defenseman Kevin Gravel. That trio was drafted by LA in 2013, 2009 and 2010 respectively.

Also, first-year defenseman Paul LaDue (selected in 2012) and the University of North Dakota will host Colorado College starting at 5:30pm PST. That game will be shown on CBS Sports Network, DirecTV channel 221.

The Michigan at Wisconsin game, featuring left wing Michael Mersch (2011 Draft), is on the BIG 10 Network (DirecTV channel 610) at 6pm PST.
