Earlier this week we had a myriad of guests on – including Jim Fox, Dennis Bernstein of The Fourth Period, Jonathan Davis of Fox Sports West and Joe Yerdon of NBC Sports – to help us break down this year’s playoff match-ups.
Now, with one game in the books between the Kings and Blues, we check in with St. Louis beat writer Norm Sanders. He covers the Blues on a daily basis and has been around for all the fun there over the last few years. He’ll share some comments from practice earlier today, breakdown the goaltending from Game 1, shed some light on a few alarming statistics from the series so far, compare and contrast the defenemen on each side, identify a few sleepers on the Blues roster, offer an opinion or three about the play of Jonathan Quick, revisit the Chris Stewart trade with the Avalanche, explain why he thinks the addition of Jay Bouwmeester is making such a huge difference – and we’ll even get into the NHL Awards a little bit too.
It might be an off-day for the Kings, but we continue to roll along with more playoff talk. See what you think…
