MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 45 – Stars at Kings

The Dallas Stars almost seem like a villain in a horror movie – just when you thought they were dead and gone, they pop back up to show you they’re still alive and causing havoc. Thought to be out of the playoff race just a few weeks ago, the Stars have won six of their last 10 games and are putting extreme pressure on fast-fading teams like Minnesota and Detroit.

Perhaps even worse news for the Kings, tonight they’ll be facing a Stars team who have come out victorious in their last four visits to LA – including a 5-2 win earlier this season a 2-0 shutout just a few weeks ago.

On a more positive note though, you have a chance to win a a free Fathead if you can guess who will score first for the Kings tonight. All correct entries in the First Goal Contests run during Kings’ home home games in April (with tonight marking game six of the seven) will be pooled together and one randomly selected person will win the Fathead of their choice from the LA Kings Stanley Cup collection.

Entering the contest is extremely easy, just follow these three simple steps…

STEP 2 – Click HERE here to see the prize you could win. Go ahead, pick it out ahead of time. Do you know which Fathead you would claim as your own? When you do, you’re ready to move on.

STEP 3 – Place a comment below with the LAST NAME of the LA Kings player you think will score first vs. the Stars (one entry per person, per Kings game played).

To get you started, here are the line combinations and D-pairings that coach Darryl Sutter is expected to use:

Healthy Scratches: Keaton Ellerby, Colin Fraser, Alec Martinez and Tyler Toffoli

In net, Jonathan Quick will likely get the start for LA. and Dallas will counter with Kari Lehtonen.
