MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 32 – Kings at Blackhawks

Perhaps the third time will be a charm.

Due to the Kings’ lack of scoring, we haven’t had a winner in our First Goal Contest in back-to-back games now.  But, with the Kings in Chicago tonight, let’s give it another go.

More on that in a minute though. First, some required reading:

Now, on to the contest…

Who do you think will score first for the Kings tonight?  Jeff Carter scored just once in his last eight games. Maybe you’re thinking Dustin Brown. Perhaps Mike Richards seems like a good option.  What about Anze Kopitar or Drew Doughty?  It could be Keaton Ellerby.

To call your shot now, here’s what you need to do…

Based upon who was first off the ice at the morning skate, Jonathan Quick will likely get the start in net.

  7. I would say Richie..I believe he netted two goals the last time they played against each other..
