MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 30 – Stars at Kings

It’s all part of that crazy NHL schedule this year.  No rest for the wicked.  Another day, another game.  In this case, Game 30 for the Kings, as they’ll take on the visiting Dallas Stars… and most of you know the drill by now, correctly guess who scores the first goal and you could win a prize.

Of course, Jeff Carter is in a bit of a drought and that has the natives restless.  He’s only scored once in the last six games.

It’s up to you though.  Take Carter – or take Dustin Brown, Anze Kopitar, Colin Fraser, Jake Muzzin – it really doesn’t matter, choose the player you think gets off first tonight.

It’s probably even safe to take Drew Doughty again.  He scored his first goal of the season in the Kings last game – and then admitted he had been lying a bit when claiming to not be worried about it for the past two months.

Oh, one more thing – as reported this morning, don’t take Tyler Toffoli.  He’ll be a healthy scratch.

So, how do you play?

Kyle Clifford – Colin Fraser – Jordan Nolan

DEFENSE

Jake Muzzin – Drew Doughty

Rob Scuderi – Slava Voynov

Alec Martinez – Keaton Ellerby

Healthy Scratches: Davis Drewiske, Brad Richardson and Tyler Toffoli.

Based upon who was first off the ice at morning skate today, it looks like Jonathan Quick will get the start in net.
