As he prepares to call his 1,000th consecutive Monarchs game, Ken Cail joins us to look back at his time in Manchester. He’s been there since day one and called every radio broadcast in franchise history. But, as he’ll explain, he almost never made it past the first game.
Among the names mentioned in the many stories he shares include – Jonathan Bernier, Dustin Brown, Bruce Boudreau, Mike Cammalleri, Rich Clune, Thomas Hickey, Andrei Loktionov, George Parros, Tanner Pearson, Tyler Toffoli, Linden Vey, Kevin Westgarth and Colton Yellow Horn.
Cail will also explain his choice for the most important player in Monarchs history, reveal who was the only person to send him a handwritten note when he went into the New Hampshire Hall of Fame and he’ll try to explain why this year’s club has been so erratic.
Plus, he’ll give his personal opinions and observations of how Dwight King, Jordan Nolan and Slava Voynov approached their time in the AHL during the recent NHL lockout. And it might not be what you’re thinking.
You’re guaranteed to learn a few new things on today’s show. So, enjoy…

He mentioned Berube vs Carrozzi as a possible matchup in net tonight, as a reign fan I like them both as a Reign fan, but Berube is much farther along in his development, should get the win tonight. Go Kings Go!
