After initial reports had him leaving for Manchester early last week, LA Kings goalie Jonathan Quick stuck around for a few more days. Last Wednesday we tweeted a photo of him working out in Ontario, wearing a Reign jersey. Then, on Friday night, he was one of the assistant coaches for a charity game played at TSC.
Afterwards – while wearing a Dodgers hat – he told us he was flying to New Hampshire in the morning and planned on continuing his rehab there for about a week or so. Just to be clear though, he’ll only be practicing with the Monarchs – not playing a game in the AHL.
Now, here’s a few exclusive shots of him on the ice earlier today…
A few weeks ago, Quick spoke with us about his back surgery, the ongoing recovery and a little bit of a lockout loophole that’s given him free reign of the Kings’ practice facility in El Segundo. You can read that article here.
