Respecting that not all of our readers are on twitter (and may have already seen some of this info), here’s a quick look at where things stand with the 11 LA Kings prospects who were invited to various World Junior training camps…
Feel confident in 9 of the names on this year's list. Grans is the wild card. 🇸🇪 is expected to make one more cut in next 24 hrs.
They're currently carrying 9 defensemen. Could cut to 8 like most teams or cut a fwd and ride with 9D like USA. Even if a D is cut, may not be Grans.

Even more #WorldJuniors news…
Sweden made several cuts to their roster and now have it down to 26.
While the list still includes both LA Kings prospects on defense, Tobias Björnfot and Helge Grans, 🇸🇪 will need to make one more roster cut before tournament starts.

Sounds like Slovakia will do things a little differently.
Told they're about to cut five players. Then they'll head to Canada with 30 players and make their final cuts from Edmonton, just before tourney starts.
Either way, LA Kings prospect @MatoChromiak8 expected on WJC team.

Some late night news from Europe..
LA Kings prospect Kasper Simontaival has made the WJC roster for Finland.
Unfortunately, fellow prospect Juho Markkanen not as lucky. Covid prevented 🇫🇮 from holding camp, so the young goalie wasn't able to play himself onto the team.

And so it begins…
Two of the LA Kings 11 potential prospects on #WorldJuniors rosters are now official.
Quinton Byfield and Jordan Spence named to Canada's 25-man roster for the WJC.

Now three LA Kings prospects officially confirmed for #WorldJuniors
No surprise here, goalie @Parik302 named to 🇨🇿 WJC roster. https://t.co/vBb38wrRfD

Also continue to hear Björnfot will wear a letter for Sweden, likely the C. 🇸🇪
Assume Turcotte may be in the running for a letter with Team USA. 🇺🇲#WorldJuniors

Quick tip of the cap to LA Kings scouting staff…
Just think about this:
Jordan Spence is the lowest drafted skater on Team Canada (taken in fourth round, 95th overall).
He's only 1 of 2 skaters on the team not selected in FIRST ROUND. And the other was taken in 2nd rd, # 41
