Introducing the Reverse Retro Cup – VOTING IS OPEN

It’s the offseason, let’s have some fun around here.

On Monday, the NHL and Adidas launched their new Reverse Retro collection, giving all 31 teams a specialty jersey for the upcoming season. Now that everybody has had some time to digest all of the various looks, let’s get some fan feedback. Rather than us simply putting out an article ranking our least/most favorites, we want to hear from you.

This should be rather entertaining and fairly interactive. Best of all, the concept is fairly straightforward, so the rules shouldn’t be that difficult to understand.

For the 2020 Fashion Show Frenzy, we’re going to start with all 31 teams in their respective divisions. Fans will vote to select their four favorite Reverse Retro jerseys from each division. From there, we’ll take the top eight winners from each Conference and seed them (based upon vote totals) to crate a playoff bracket. We’ll use fan votes to determine the winner of each playoff match up, eventually leading to the Reverse Retro Cup Final… and, ultimately, one winner.

To get started, let’s go through the Reverse Retro jerseys from the Eastern Conference.

METROPOLITAN DIVISION

Carolina Hurricanes

Columbus Blue Jackets

New Jersey Devils

New York Islanders

New York Rangers

Philadelphia Flyers

Pittsburgh Penguins

Washington Capitals

ATLANTIC DIVISION

Boston Bruins

Buffalo Sabres

Detroit Red Wings

Florida Panthers

Montreal Canadiens

Ottawa Senators

Tampa Bay Lightning

Toronto Maple Leafs

Voting to determine playoff seeding will remain open until 8am PST on Thursday, November 18.
