PHOTO GALLERY: Kings v Coyotes, 2018 Rookie Tournament

This isn’t quite Frozen Fury, however the prospect tournament going on right now has been outstanding. Officially titled the 2018 Vegas Rookie Faceoff, it’s an event featuring talent from six teams – the host Vegas Golden Knights, Los Angeles Kings, Anaheim Ducks, San Jose Sharks, Arizona Coyotes, and Colorado Avalanche.

Saturday opened up with the Kings steamrolled in an 8-3 defeat by the Ducks (see here for notes and quotes, plus we have a Game 1 photo gallery up here). Despite coach Mike Stothers making a few lineup changes for Sunday’s Game 2 — and playing much better overall — they again came up on the short end, falling to the Coyotes 4-2.

Per our pre-season tradition, we brought along a photographer to Vegas. Below are images captured by Daniel Stopani for MayorsManor. The collection below features some of the LA Kings top prospects and recent draft picks – including: Jaret Anderson-Dolan, Mikey Eyssimont, Aiden Dudas, Drake Rymsha, Kale Clague, Austin Strand, Markus Phillips, Cole Kehler, and more.
