MayorsManor Live: 2017-18 RD1 Playoff Predictions from The Kid

In what has become a tradition around here — and something readers have come to enjoy apparently — we’re looking to have a little fun heading into the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

For the fourth straight year, we have something a little more personal to share with you heading into the postseason. My 12-year-old son joins the show to offer up his own unique analysis and predictions. The Kid is downright obsessed; watches and talks hockey non-stop. As always, everything you hear below was all him. We didn’t discuss anything ahead of time and recorded the entire show live in one take. Who wins between Capitals-Blue Jackets, Penguins-Flyers, Lightning-Devils, Bruins, Maple Leafs, Predators-Avalanche, Jets-Wild, Ducks-Sharks, and Golden Knights-Kings? It’s all packed into this conversation.
