The final pick of the sixth round and the second selection of the round for the Los Angeles Kings, the Kings took left winger Matt Mistele of the Plymouth Whalers of the Ontario Hockey League. Mistele had a fantastic rookie year with the Whalers with 34 goals and 26 assists but his numbers dropped in year two to only 18 goals and 19 assists. Mistele is listed as 6’1″ 183 pounds
