Draft 2014: Kings Second Round Pick, Alex Lintuniemi

With their second, second round pick the Kings stayed in the Ontario Hockey League and drafted Finnish defenseman Alex Lintuniemi. Lintuniemi played last season with the Ottawa 67’s, the former junior team of Tyler Toffoli.

Lintuniemi is listed at 6’3″ 227 pounds. Lintuniemi was ranked 187th by Central Scouting Service in their final rankings after not being on the midterm rankings

In 68 games played this year the defensive Lintuniemi had four goals and 17 assists.
