The Mayor on Sportsnet: Kings-Sharks analysis, Ducks Round 2 preview

The Mayor John Hoven returned to Sportsnet Radio in Calgary on Thursday to break down what happened between the Kings and Sharks in Game 7 – including talk about Jonathan Quick, Dustin Brown, Tyler Toffoli, and Anze Kopitar. Later, the conversation turned to the San Jose Sharks and where they go from here. Other topics they hit on during the interview include the Kings top prospects in Manchester (and which names could be next in line to join the big club in LA), plus how Round 2 shapes up between the Ducks and Kings. I think you’re great. I really do. You answer so many questions exactly as I believe should be answered. All that being said, and there’s really honestly no way to prove it either way but I do not for a nanosecond believe the premise that Lombardi would have passed up Stamkos in 06. He can draw boxes until I’m laid in one, I will never believe it (and that being said, I’m glad they went second.)
