West Coast Bias on NHL Radio with Souray and Chase

Guests Sheldon Souray and Kelly Chase joined us for the March 2, 2014 edition of West Coast Bias on NHL Network Radio.

Trade rumors and hockey related comedy were the major topics of conversation this week. Anaheim Ducks defenseman helped us get the bottom of many burning questions surrounding his current and former teammates in a segment you do not want to miss. Next up, we were joined by Kelly Chase, who helped us understand the Ryan Miller / Steve Ott trade from the perspective of the St. Louis Blues. What will it do for their playoff chances? He certainly has some strong opinions.

Finally, co-host Jonathan Davis and I covered off on all the latest trade rumors around the NHL. We specifically reviewed every team in the Western Conference one by one, discussing if they were buyers or sellers, as well as which players are thought to be involved in specific deals.

One quick programming note, if you’ve missed any of our recent episodes, click HERE for links below to our chats with Bruce Boudreau, Charlie Coyle, James Duthie, Emerson Etem, Kerry Fraser, Stu Grimson, Colin Hanks, Greg Hetson, Guy Hebert, Kelly Hrudey, Bob McKenzie, Dustin Penner, Luc Robitaille, Bobby Ryan, Tyler Seguin, Kevin Smith, Paul Stastney, Jarret Stoll, Doug Wilson and dozens of others.

All of our shows can also be downloaded on iTunes here for free.

We’ll be back next Sunday night, where it’s probably safe to assume that fallout from this week’s NHL trade deadline (more on that here) will be the major topic of discussion.

Now on to this week’s show (be patient, make take a few seconds to load)…
