West Coast Bias on NHL Network Radio with Goldberg, Kurz and McLellan

Guests Mike Goldberg, Kevin Kurz, Sarah McLellan, Isaiah Mustafa and Chris Peters joined us for the December 22, 2013 edition of West Coast Bias on NHL Network Radio.

Over the jam packed two hours, Jonathan Davis and I talked about all the latest news and notes from around the rinks in North America – including Dan Boyle, Joe Thornton, Dustin Penner, Chicago Blackhawks, Jeremy Roenick, Vancouver Canucks, Brad Richardson, St. Louis Blues, Colorado Avalanche, Jonathan Quick’s recovery, Anaheim Ducks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Detroit Red Wings, Alexander Ovechkin, trade rumors, 2014 Olympics in Sochi, the Ramones, plus…

Kevin Kurz of Comcast Sports Bay Area clued us in on all the latest happenings with the San Jose Sharks, including new details on the knee injury Tomas Hertl suffered vs. the LA Kings.

Mike Goldberg, the voice of the UFC, stopped by to share many memories from his 16-year career with the company. He also talked about calling hockey games, his friendship with many NHL stars, the Philadelphia Flyers and a preview of UFC 168 featuring Anderson Silva v Chris Weidman and Ronda Rousey v Miesha Tate.

Isaiah Mustafa, aka the Old Spice guy, dropped in to talk about his love for hockey, playing in the Rose Bowl, how to get over a broken heart and more.

Chris Peters gave us all the inside scoop on Team USA for the upcoming World Junior Championship and Sarah McLellan joined the fun from Phoenix to update us on a very scary illness Coyotes captain Shane Doan is dealing with.
