AUDIO: West Coast Bias on NHL Radio – Chiasson, Alfredsson’s return

Are you ready for another two-hour episode of West Coast Bias? We were back on the NHL Network Radio airwaves yesterday, talking up all the latest news and notes around the hockey world.

TSN’s Brent Wallace also joined us from Ottawa to share some insight and observations on former Senators captain Daniel Alfredsson returning to Ottawa, now as a member of the Detroit Red Wings. During his segment, the veteran broadcaster will gave some tidbits on the rosters for both teams and what they need to do to improve.

Later, Alex Chiasson of the Dallas Stars stopped by following their game vs. the Edmonton Oilers.  He opened up about coach Darcy Regier, Stephane Robidas and Tyler Seguin. Plus, he talked about college hockey vs. junior programs – specifically, his time at Boston University.

Along with my co-host Jonathan Davis, we also found time to discuss and debate a myriad of other topics, like – the Vancouver Canucks, San Jose Sharks, St. Louis Blues, LA Kings, Anaheim Ducks, Dustin Penner, Phoenix Coyotes, Patrick Roy, Colorado Avalance, Chicago Blackhawks, Columbus Blue Jackets, Minnesota Wild, Charlie Coyle, New York Rangers, Metallica and lots more.

Ready, set, go…

HOUR ONE – Brent Wallace, game reviews, etc.

HOUR TWO – Alex Chiasson, Gordie Howe Hat Trick of the Week, etc.

An all new episode of West Coast Bias will air on NHL Network Radio next Sunday starting at 8pm PST. Hope you’ll join us. In the meantime, if you’ve missed any of our recent episodes, check out the links below.
