Colin Fraser on Carter, Toffoli, Vey changes

On Tyler Toffoli and Linden Vey coming up while Jeff Carter goes on the injured list:

“Obviously Carts is a big loss, but hopefully it’s not for very long. Personally, I didn’t even know until I came into the rink today, it’s one of those surprises, I guess for me anyways. Tyler’s been here, obviously played very well last year and maybe even deserved to be here this year, but obviously numbers you can only have so many guys on the roster or whatever the reasoning is. So he knows what to expect. Linden is a scorer, he puts up big points, did in the Western League. I kind of remember him from the Western League, at least his name and how many numbers he put up. He’s an offensive guy that can skate real well and is fast. He has all the intangibles and he’s getting his opportunity. Hopefully he can make the best of it.”
