Western Conference: Hertl takes four bites for the Sharks

Canada, Russia and the U.S. might grab most of the hockey headlines, but let’s not forget about the Czech Republic either. While 41-year old native Jaromir Jagr was busy scoring his 683rd goal a few hours north in Vancouver, young Tomas Hertl was busy lighting the lamp four separate times for the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night.

It was indeed a magical evening for the 19-year old rookie, playing in just his third NHL game. And clearly he subscribes to the ‘save the best for last’ theory. Take a look…
