POLL: Least favorite (most hated) active NHL player?

It’s been three years since we last ran a poll asking which active NHL player you liked the least. While that may not seem like a long time ago, when you look over the previous list and see names like Chris Pronger and Sean Avery, you’re easily reminded how quickly things change in the NHL.

With that in mind, we’re culled together a new dirty dozen – the players fans seem to hate for a myriad of reasons.

Again, this is only a list for active players. Sorry, Craig MacTavish, you’re not eligible.

Now, if you’re guy isn’t on the list (and he’s on a current NHL roster), please use the ‘OTHER’ option at the bottom and write him in.

Let’s see what you guys think…

[UPDATE: For those wondering, some of the names showing up in the ‘other’ category have been Ryane Clowe, Dany Heatley, Max Lapierre, TJ Oshie… and Sidney Crosby. However, none of them have received enough votes to be moved into the main portion of the poll.]

Voting will end Monday, October 28 at 10am PST.

I voted Raffi Torres but Todd Bertuzzi is right there with him!!

  3. Any chance of selecting “All of the Above”!? Personally can’t stand Tootoo, Ribeiro, Doan, Perry. But all of them annoy the crap out of me!

  4. I voted for Shane Doan since I have a sincere dislike for his whiney behavior. However, Raffi Torres is a pretty close second for me because he’s a dirty player.

  5. Voted Kaleta.

  6. all of them are sorta bad for hockey (although Perry is really more annoying than anything and Kane only pisses me off when he’s not in a team USA uniform) but Torres is DANGEROUS. he’s a menace, and not only because he’s a rival team’s guy. he’s dirty and i hate that i worry about every player on the team he’s playing against any time he’s on the ice.

  7. Where’s Dustin Brown and his whiney, diving self?
