West Coast Bias on NHL Network Radio – October 20th

Tyler Seguin and Emerson Etem appear as guests on West Coast Bias.

Another jam packed edition of the show is in the books! On this week’s episode we featured guests Tyler Seguin of the Dallas Stars and Emerson Etem of the Anaheim Ducks – plus we debated several key topics from around the world of hockey.

Per the norm, Jonathan Davis and I kicked the show off with some highlights of the day’s action.   Find out what impressed us the most.  Later, we found time to discuss fighting in the NHL, suspensions coming up, Best Goal of the Week and a few players that might be traded soon.

If that’s not enough for you, we also hit on these topics throughout the show:

Ticket prices around the league, Darryl Sutter’s LA Kings, Anze Kopitar, Justin Williams, the hit on Dustin Penner, Boston Bruins, Ray Whitney, Wayne Simmonds, Mark Recchi, New York Rangers, the 2003 NHL Draft class vs. the 2010 NHL Draft class, Washington Capitals, Mike Ribeiro, Chris Stewart, back-up goalies, the next coach to likely be fired, Vancouver Canucks, Calgary Flames, Mike Cammalleri, John Tortorella, George Parros, Eric Nystrom, Nail Yakupov, Nashville Predators, Chris Neal, Ottawa Senators, Kevin Westgarth, Winnipeg Jets, Evander Kane, Blake Wheeler, Taylor Hall, Phoenix Coyotes, tweets from listeners, Teemu Selanne, Corey Perry, realignment, Lindy Ruff, the WHL, Jack Campbell, John Gibson, rivalries in hockey, Crosby v MacKinnon, Barry Manilow and plenty more.

It’s all right here…

HOUR ONE – Tyler Seguin, Canucks/Jets and Stars/Ducks review, etc.

HOUR TWO – Emerson Etem, Gordie Howe Hat Trick of the Week, key games coming up, etc.

An all new episode of West Coast Bias will air on NHL Network Radio next Sunday, live from the Staples Center in Los Angeles – we’ll be on immediately following the Kings-Oilers game. It all starts at 9pm PST. Hope you’ll join us.
