Tanner Pearson happy to still be in LA, for now

Raw quotes from Tanner Pearson at Kings training camp on Thursday…

On the feeling of still being here after the latest round of cuts:

“It’s good. There’s still one last cut to go. I guess there’s one last kick at the can to show that I should be here.”

On if he’s playing in Vegas:

“They haven’t told me anything as of right now. I’m going in and if I play, I’ll enjoy the experience, but if not, I’ll still enjoy it.”

On if he’s been to Las Vegas before:

“I’ve never been to Vegas, but I turned twenty-one this past summer. I guess there’s a little more reason for me to go now. I’m going to focus more on hockey this time around though. Maybe in the summer sometime.”

On how he mentally prepares for the final two games, that final kick of the can:

“I have to go in there and play my game. I think I’ve done a good job of that so far, and it’s awesome until now. I have to keep it going and see what happens from there.”

On the feedback he’s received at camp:

“Nothing really. The less communication, the better it is. They haven’t really talked to me much. I’m not going to take that in a negative way. I’m going to keep on doing what I’ve been doing.”
