“Yeah, this past year has been a lot similar to Development Camp. Stuff will change, as it’s more playing games and getting back into that kind of groove. It’s been nice to be out here finally and get the season back on the road.”

On playing on a line with Linden Vey and Tyler Toffoli against Anaheim:

“It’s obviously nice to play with guys that you know how they play and that you’ve played with before. You’re trying to make the NHL here so to get every advantage you can and play with guys you are familiar with is a big plus.”

“It went pretty good, I think. I don’t know the test results from the conditioning stuff, so we’ll find that out. It takes a couple of days to process the stuff. We didn’t get it fro awhile last year, either.”

On where he thinks he improved the most over summer:

“It’s so hard to tell right now, just practicing and that kind of thing. Once the games start tomorrow, I’ll have a better idea to answer that question. But right now it’s just so tough with all the practicing.”

On if having Manchester’s coach Mark Morris running the camp makes it easier for him:

“Yeah, every one of these drills that we’ve done we do throughout the year probably at least once a week. He puts us always at the front of the line because the guys that played with him last year know what’s going on to help these younger guys that don’t know the drills.”
