PHOTO GALLERY: Kings v Ducks Rookie Game 2 in LA

Game 2 of the special two-game series between prospects from the Kings and Ducks ended with a different score than the initial contest, but the same outcome – an LA victory. Playing in front of a sold out crowd at the team’s training facility in El Segundo, Alex Roach, Nick Shore and Jordan Weal helped power the Kings to a 3-2 win. Goaltender Patrik Bartosak, drafted this past June out of the WHL, was stellar in net – stopping 25 of the 26 shots he faced.

You can watch a full replay of the game here. Plus, we have a poll open until Wednesday morning, asking for your thoughts on who was the most outstanding Kings prospect in Monday’s game. Vote here if you haven’t done so already.

Post-game quotes from players and Kings coach Mark Morris can be found here and here.

Finally, just like Game 1 in Anaheim on Saturday, MayorsManor photographer Chasen Ikiri was on hand to snap some shots of all the action in Game 2 – including images of all the aforementioned players plus Derek Forbort, Brandon Kozun, Scott Sabourin and many others. Take a look…
