AUDIO: TFP Live guest spot – talking LA Kings contracts, summer plans

Over the weekend I joined David Pagnotta and Dennis Bernstein for another guest spot on The Fourth Period Live – a weekly show on NHL Network Radio (XM 92 / Sirius 207). Because not everybody has satellite radio, we thought it best to share the audio here.

In the segment we discussed the Kings taking on the Blackhawks in the Western Conference Final (obviously an answer to the question about Game 5 is irrelevant now).  However, the bulk of the segment was dedicated to two key issues facing LA this summer – salary cap problems and what to do with captain Dustin Brown.  We’ll get into trade scenarios that could free up money, who needs to be re-signed and for how much, plus much more.  It’s a prime set up for some of the coverage we’ll be digging into much deeper throughout the coming weeks.

Although the season is over for the Kings, our coverage never ends here on MayorsManor. The last few days have been filled with notes and quotes from this week’s chats with GM Dean Lombardi, coach Darryl Sutter and seven different players. Those conversations can be found at the links below. So, read up!
