MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 38 – Oilers at Kings

fathead contest LA Kings MayorsManor
We’re into the homestretch now, only six games remaining in the regular season at Staples Center.  And today brings the dreaded day game, where the Kings haven’t fared so well over the last few seasons.  Will today be different?

As part of our push to the playoffs here on MayorsManor we kicked off an all new contest on Thursday, where one lucky winner will receive a free Fathead of their choice from the LA Kings Stanley Cup collection. Each correct entry in the First Goal Contests run on April 4, 6, 11, 13, 18, 21 and 27 will be pooled together and one randomly selected person will be announced as the overall winner. So, yes, if you’re a really good guesser, you could end up with seven entries!

Entering the contest is easy enough, just follow these three simple steps…

STEP 2 – Click HERE here to see the prize you could win. Go ahead, pick it out ahead of time. Do you know which Fathead you would claim as your own? When you do, you’re ready to move on.

STEP 3 – Place a comment below with the LAST NAME of the LA Kings player you think will score first vs. the Oilers (one entry per person, per Kings game played).

To get you started, here are the line combinations and D-pairings that coach Darryl Sutter is expected to use:

Dustin Brown – Anze Kopitar – Justin Williams

Kyle Clifford – Mike Richards – Jeff Carter

Dwight King – Jarret Stoll – Trevor Lewis

Brad Richardson – Colin Fraser – Jordan Nolan

Robyn Regehr – Drew Doughty

Rob Scuderi – Slava Voynov

Jake Muzzin – Keaton Ellerby

Healthy Scratches: Alec Martinez and Tyler Toffoli (also, Dustin Penner is on IR)

It appears Jonathan Quick will get the start in net.

Edmonton will feature a top line of Taylor Hall, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins and Jordan Eberle. Plus, hotshot rookie defenseman Justin Schultz will make his Staples Center debut.

Good luck in the contest!
