Friday morning tidbits – Martinez at Kings practice and more

The Kings are on the ice for practice this morning and will be heading up to Vancouver shortly.

Line-up wise there aren’t a lot of changes to report. The forwards were paired up as follows:

Dustin Brown – Anze Kopitar – Justin Williams

Trevor Lewis – Mike Richards – Jeff Carter

Dustin Penner – Jarret Stoll – Dwight King (and Brad Richardson)

Kyle Clifford – Colin Fraser – Jordan Nolan

When they get off the ice we’ll see if coach Darry Sutter has any new updates on Alec Martinez – who returned to practicing with the team today, rather than in solo sessions after the main group finishes.

We’ll also post other live quotes on twitter, so be sure to follow along.

In the meantime, here are the articles you should read:

Back to school for Keaton Ellerby – new friends and homework included

Luc Robitaille – ‘Brown and Kopitar aren’t the same players’

Jonathan Bernier – ‘Quicky is our number one, I’m not’

Dean Lombardi – ‘Becoming emotionally attached again is a hard thing’

By the time you’re done we’ll have more from practice…
