MayorsManor First Goal Contest: Game 18 – Red Wings at Kings

If you’re going to play the odds tonight, Jeff Carter may be your guy.  Then again, maybe his hot streak will come to an end.  Same could be said for Dustin Brown.

On the flip side, maybe this is the night Anze Kopitar goes off and has four points.

But, they aren’t the only players you can pick for tonight’s First Goal Contest.

Dustin Penner has a goal now, maybe he’ll score another one.

And Drew Doughty has to score at some point, right?

Sticking with the defensemen, rookie Jake Muzzin might be somebody to keep an eye on. He has a huge shot, as put on display vs. Anaheim on Monday.

Regardless of why you think a particular player is going to score first though, to get a shot at winning tonight’s prize here’s what you need to know…

Simply place a comment below with the LAST NAME of the LA Kings player you think will score first vs. the Red Wings tonight (one entry per person). We’ll take all of the correct entries and pool them together. From that group, one random winner will be sent a Hockey Soda Energy prize pack featuring a hockey puck and a 6-pack of Hockey Energy Soda (must be 16 years of age or older).

So, look over the line combinations below, place your entry in the comments section and then click over to see the full line of Hockey Energy products – all designed to improve protein metabolism, reduces fatigue and appetite – plus sharpen perception. Now, to help you with your entry/guess, here are the line combinations coach Darryl Sutter is expected to use…

Trevor Lewis – Mike Richards – Jeff Carter

Dustin Penner – Jarret Stoll – Dwight King

DEFENSE

Davis Drewiske – Jake Muzzin

Healthy Scratches: Andrew Campbell, Simon Gagne and Brad Richardson

Good luck in the contest!
