Fill In The Blank: Game 17 – feedback from Kings 5-2 win over Ducks

It’s time for more input from the readers.

This normally would have gone up yesterday.  However, with the trade of Simon Gagne, it was pushed until today.  Sorry if that disrupted anybody’s sleep last night.

Following the game at Staples Center on Monday night we asked people to complete this statement:

‘The best moment in the Kings 5-2 win over the Ducks was ________.’ (FILL IN THE BLANK)

Now, after scanning the feedback provided on twitter and facebook, here are the ten best answers…

Brandan O. – Doughty’s bone crushing hip check a la Rob Blake!

Dave R. – Penner scoring!

Tom B. – Nolan dropping the gloves and landing a few knuckle sandwiches on Sheldon Souray face

Dylon McD. – Beating the ducks, to a man, on every line and every shift in the third period.

Leo S. – Muzzin faking a pass to Williams then scoring in one motion 15 seconds into the Kings first power play for a 4-2 lead. The crowd went nuts!

@jeremyfiel – #pennermania running wild!!

@MHulicius – Dustin Brown’s top shelf goal total classic

@rcoop21 – Nolan’s beatdown of Souray. Changed momentum.

@jjoefuji – Brian Hayward making excuses for the Ducks loooosing…

@EvaMarieAlonzo – Muzzin’s Goal – Bea-u-ti-ful!!!

And two bonus entries:

Nicole A. – When Bailey punched the Duck stuffed animal against the glass.

Ricardo R. – Watching Corey Perry on the kiss cam…

  1. Leadership and resiliency.
    Did the kings score a few good goals or did the ducks let in some bad ones?
    We all saw stoll with that little bump on koivu. The goalie shoulda had slavas goal. We look at that one trickling through quicks pads in detroit and say he shoulda had it, not it was a great shot. Slavas goal great shot or goalie shoulda had it?
    3rd I’m sick of hearing about muzzins special night. He had a goal on a shot that shouldn’t have hit the net. Replay it. The guy to the right of muzzin let that play go and he knew it. I challenge anyone to replay that goal and say otherwise. Stay humble kings.
